From the first sketch to the finished glaze, we estimate three to four weeks. Each piece is hand-thrown, dried, fired, and glazed – this takes time to ensure quality. If you have a specific deadline, just let us know.
Yes, we offer a personal color and material consultation in our studio at Philipp-Schmied-Gasse 32c. Bring photos or sketches, we'll discuss your wishes and develop a cohesive concept together. The appointment lasts about an hour.
We mainly use stoneware clay, porcelain, and water-based natural glazes. All color pigments are free of heavy metals. For textiles and accessories, we use linen, cotton, and recycled yarns – always with a focus on durability and skin-friendliness.
No, you can order a single piece from us. Whether it's a vase, a bowl, or a set of two cups – we craft each item as a one-of-a-kind piece. For larger series (from five identical objects), we offer a small volume discount.
It's best to wash the pieces by hand with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive sponges and extreme temperature changes – so don't put them directly from the fridge into the oven. Over time, the glaze develops a beautiful patina that enhances its character.
Since each piece is handmade, no reorder will be 100% identical to the original. We try to match the shape and color as closely as possible, but slight variations are part of the charm. If you want a set in series, we'll make all the pieces in one batch.
